Nashville Music: Avery Sings “Let There Be Lonely” in Episode 15

It's a tale as old as time: Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy and girl move to Nashville to pursue their music dreams... boy grows a soul patch, cheats on girl, gets his music remixed by Wyclef Jean into a dubstep beat, sets masters on fire, and then goes to the Bluebird to cry into a microphone. Way to go, Avery (Jonathan Jackson), you've got it down pat.

In Nashville Season 1, Episode 15 "When You're Tired of Breaking Other Hearts," Aves heads to the Bluebird armed with a beautiful rendition of the Secret Sisters song "Let There Be Lonely." Although he's been locked out of the music world from the top down, he seems resolved to work his way back up again.

Meanwhile, Scarlett and Gunnar reunite in the hallways of their not-at-all-awkward living situation and both admit they were wrong, before a super hot kiss, followed by doing it. So, this is pretty much the most perfect video clip of all time: the girl gets dumped by the boy with the soul patch, but wins when his song is the soundtrack to her new life. Point, Scarlett.
