If things go well for Season 1 of Nashville, one supporting character could be upgraded to a series regular for Season 2.

Deadline reports that Kimberly Williams-Paisley could permanently join the cast of the ABC show if it gets picked up for a second season.

Kimberly plays Peggy Samper, a former co-worker of Teddy’s (Eric Close) and ex-flame who possibly still holds a torch for him. She’ll signed up to appear in nine episodes total of Season 1.

Conveniently for Kimberly, she already lives in Nashville with her country star husband, Brad Paisley!
