Secrets are hard to contain when you sing like Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) on Nashville. The sparks seem to materialize whenever those two hit the stage together, and Season 1, Episode 4, “We Live in Two Different Worlds” is no exception.
The singers pair up to perform at Teddy’s (Eric Close) fundraiser (raise your hand if you think that was his decision), and the mayoral candidate is far from pleased. But Mr. “I Like to Burn My Secrets in the Fireplace” has his own past to deal with: A woman named Peggy (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) arrives with a secret.
Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) is dealing with the fallout from “Operation: Steal Nail Polish,” so she goes on Good Morning America to clear her name.
