For those of you who have been wondering if Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes) and Connie Britton (Rayna Jaymes) sound as good IRL as they do on Nashville, now’s your chance to find out. This Friday, February 22, the ladies of pop-country will be filming a concert scene and they’re looking for extras.
To sign up as an extra, all you have to do is RSVP and then show up at Nashville’s sound stage 444 Brick Church Park Dr. (in Nashville) to hang from 10am - 6pm. Although we can’t go, you should and then you should tell us EVERYTHING. Is Hayden nice in real life? Do they sound as good in person as on TV? Who’s the better performer? Are there boys with them there? GO AND TELL US!
There’s no payment for this except being the new coolest person we know. Oh, and you might win, like an iPod or a Wii or something, which just seems like gilding a super hot lily. According to the site, being an extra requires almost nothing of you except what you would normally do when seeing Hay-Hay and CBritt, “cheering, applauding, singing along to performance and from time to time moving around the arena. You will be asked to act naturally as you would in a concert setting.”
Additionally, the site gives a little more info on what it will be like, “We will be filming scenes with a real Nashville area backup band and CONNIE BRITTON (as 'Rayna Jaymes') & HAYDEN PANETTIERE (as 'Juliette Barnes') will be performing a couple of songs. Although please keep in mind that it is NOT an actual concert because we will be stopping and starting a lot to get our scenes filmed. You will hear concert quality songs & sound and will see live performances, however it will not be like a normal concert at all times.”
