Apparently there are some people in this world who watch Sunday Night Football for, you know, the football. But if you're like us, you watch it to hear country diva Faith Hill belt out "Waiting All Day For Sunday Night."

Well, looks like we'll be waiting for the rest of our lives to hear Faith sing this fist-pumping tune, because girlfriend has parted ways with NBC –– which means someone brand spankin' new will be singing her signature song when Sunday Night Football kicks off its next season!

“Amazing 2 have been part of SNF – an honor," Faith tweeted on April 15. "I’ve just let everyone there know it’s time 2 let someone else rock the open.”

Faith has been opening SNF for the past six seasons, but the time has come for her to pass the torch –– and who better to carry it than one of Nashville's resident songstresses? We're thinking that Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes), Connie Britton (Rayna Jaymes), or Clare Bowen (Scarlett O’Connor) would do a stellar job belting out "Waiting All day For Sunday Night," though they'll probably be competing weave-to-weave with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Hollywood's favorite heartbreaker, Taylor Swift.

Hit the poll and tell us who you think should replace Faith! And no, Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) is not an option. First of all he's fictional (we know, tragic), and second of all he's too busy ignoring his labrador to have time for football.
