According to the synopsis, Teddy Conrad (Eric Close) takes his family man ways and pretty much runs them into the ground in Season 1 Episode 14 "Dear Brother." ABC teases major relationship drama in the tense episode: "As Rayna and Teddy's divorce moves forward, the tabloids move in, speculating about Rayna’s cheating and thrusting her children into the spotlight; Teddy decides to bring Peggy into his mayoral fold and holds a press conference to make it look like it’s all business." 

Looks are everything in Nashville, particularly when country star Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) is your wife and her daddy, Lamar Wyatt (Powers Boothe), rigged your campaign.
