Did you know? There just might be something in a name: Wisdom received a BA in history and economics from Columbia University before becoming a production assistant for NPR’s All Things Considered.


A native of Jamaica, Robert Wisdom grew up in Washington, D.C. After attending college in New York and trying his hand at banking and radio, Robert pursued his passion for the arts. One of his first big breaks came in the 1997 movie Face/Off, and Robert continued to pop up on both the big and small screens in Ray, Cracker, and Storytelling before landing roles on Prison Break and The Wire.


In his spare time, Robert makes Moroccan music and plays the sintir and harmonium.
