As the man behind the woman, Teddy has spent years living in wife Rayna’s shadow. (They’ve known each other since childhood.) He comes from a respectable family, but he hasn’t quite matched the professional successes of his wife. Teddy once worked in real estate, but his last land deal tanked and almost bankrupted the family. Desperate to prove his worth, Teddy makes a deal with his father-in-law, Lamar Wyatt, to run for mayor of Nashville — though it could jeopardize his relationship with Rayna.
