Nashville's Clare Bowen Duets with Elvis Costello at T-Bone Burnett Celebration!

Clare Bowen (Scarlett O’Connor) is the most surprising talent on Nashville, and every time she sings we fall more and more in love with her. The Australia native had the honor to show off her pipes on March 10 at the 2013 T.J. Martell Foundation Honors Gala, celebrating Nashville music supervisor T-Bone Burnett. At the gala, Clare had the rare opportunity to sing with legendary singer Elvis Costello, on the Oscar-nominated song "The Scarlet Tide."

In the video, Clare emphasizes that her commitment to helping teh Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center — one of the beneficiaries of the evening — is partially due to her history of having cancer as a young child. The part she sings in the Elvis Costello-written song was originally sung by Alison Krauss, but we think Clare does a pretty great job of stepping up to the plate.
