ABC’s hit sophomore drama Nashville is chock-full of talented actors and actresses, but over the past season and a half, America has fallen in love with the ever-adorable (and super talented) Stella sisters, Lennon and Maisy (who play Maddie and Daphne Conrad, respectively).
These little ladies, who got their start on YouTube, have proven that while they definitely have musical talent, they can also express themselves via acting — and it doesn’t hurt that on Nashville they get to do a bit of both. But which scenes are the hardest for the sisters to film?
“I'm really sensitive to those emotional scenes, and I'm just sensitive when it comes to things like that,” Lennon, 14, told Glamour. “I actually have a harder time with the scenes that call for me to be excited and hyper. Those are harder for me. The emotional scenes, I don't know why, but I feel those come from more of a natural place. Acting super giddy requires me to get into that character.”
And in true sister fashion, Maisy, 9, was there to counter her sister’s opinion. “For me, it's definitely opposite,” she told the mag. “So when I am in a moody scene, that’s harder for me. But me and Lennon will practice, and I’ll get the script out and even read Rayna's lines and act them out. It’s kind of awkward because I’m just kinda talking to the wall, but I think it's getting easier for me as I practice.”
We think these girls have a bright future and we can’t wait to see them continue to wow us on Nashville.
Nashville airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
