Recap of Teen Mom 2 Season 5, Episode 12 (April 8, 2014)
You know what we haven't gotten enough of during this season of Teen Mom 2? Jenelle Evans visiting the Brunswick County Jail. This girl usually makes at least a few trips to her home away from home per season, but now that she's a mature adult who eats at sophisticated establishments like Olive Garden, she's hardly ever arrested!
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for her baby daddy, Nathan Griffith. You might remember that Nathan was arrested for a DUI while recklessly driving home with Jenelle (apparently he was in a rush to have sex with her — true story), and this week we finally got to see his arrest play out on camera.
Turns out Jenelle was able to bail out her man from the slammer, but sadly this was Nathan's third DUI and he could end up in the jail for a more than just a few hours. Luckily, Jenelle didn't seem too worried about her baby daddy's fate. "I think everything will be fine," she mused, while Nathan said, "That whole police station, they need to act a lot more professional. And they need to understand that peoples lives are at stake."
Not to point out the obvious, but people's lives are also at stake when other people choose to drive under the influence. Although to be fair, Nathan was never breathalyzed or given a blood test, so there's no concrete proof that he was driving while intoxicated.
Anyway, fear not Nathan fan-girls. This dude has cleaned up his act post-arrest, and now he and Jenelle are happily in love (despite a recent rift), and are looking forward to welcoming their baby boy later this year!
Are you shocked by Nathan's irresponsibility? Sound off below.
