Vampire Diaries Star Nathaniel Buzolic Dishes About Kol’s Potential Return

With the 100th episode of The Vampire Diaries set to air Thursday, ‘tis the season for all of our favorite TVD stars to reminisce about their favorite moments from episodes past. What did Nathaniel Buzolic (Kol Mikaelson) call his favorite Kol scene of all TVD time?

“There are so many moments,” Nate told TV Fanatic. “Honestly, I like the more dramatic moments. I really like the scene where Jeremy came back from the dead for the first time and I catch the dagger, and there’s a whole sort of sequence with Nina’s character. There were some good moments there.”

We think Nate is referring to Season 4, Episode 22 (“The Walking Dead”), aka the penultimate episode of last season when the veil to the Other Side is dropped and the ghosts of slain Mystic Falls residents are able to interact with the living. When Kol comes back and tries to kill Elena, Jeremy stops him, making a dramatic entrance back into the land of the semi-living. It was pretty epic.

Nate is enthusiastic about his time on TVD in general, saying: “If I look at it as a whole, it was an amazing experience.” So, would he consider coming back — if not to TVD, then to The Originals, where his siblings are currently hanging? Sure, he’s technically dead — really dead, in fact — but when has that ever stopped anyone on this show before?

According to Nate: “That’s a Julie Plec question, not a Nathaniel Buzolic question. All I can say to that is: if the opportunity came up and I was available, I’d love to be a part of it. But, who knows? That’s out of my hands.” Um, can we please make this happen, Julie Plec? Thanks.

Would you want to see Kol make an appearance on TVD or The Originals? What is your favorite Kol scene? Sound off in the comments below!
