We know. At first glance, Glee’s Naya Rivera (Santana) and Kim Kardashian seem almost nothing alike. One is a 26-year-old Latina firecracker who's been working as an actress since childhood. The other is a 33-year-old of Armenian descent, a reality star and new mom born and raised in L.A.’s swankiest neighborhoods who has made a career out of marketing her flawless figure.

Not a whole lot of similarities. But when Naya got engaged to rap star Big Sean and then Kanye West proposes to Kim not even two weeks later, we started to realize that these ladies actually are very much alike.

So, with a flair for hyperbole, we proudly present our top five reasons that Kim and Naya are basically the same person. (At least read them first, before you rush to the comments to yell at us? It wouldn’t hurt.)

1. They’re both engaged to rap stars.

On October 3, Naya accepted boyfriend Big Sean’s marriage proposal. On October 21, Kanye and Kim got engaged after an elaborate stadium proposal. Both grooms-to-be are big names in the music industry. (Sean won Best New Artist and the 2012 BET Awards, and Kanye is, well...Kanye.)

In fact, Kanye, 36, was actually the one who discovered Sean back when the now-25-year-old was just in high school. How’s that for a cool coincidence?

2. And they each have some HUGE engagement ring bling.

Both Naya and Kim are sporting some seriously big bling. Seriously. We’re pretty sure both rocks are more or less visible from outer space. Naya’s three-carat stunner is worth an estimated $70,000, while Kim’s 15-carat rock is estimated anywhere from $1.25 to $8 million. Both are impressive, but let’s be real: Kanye is a bona fide superstar so any ring he gets is going to be out of this world.

3. Both have hot bodies...and they’re not afraid to show them off!

Kim Kardashian spends most of her days dodging the paparazzi, so people often forget that she’s actually an entrepreneur and businesswoman by trade. Kim has managed to leverage the public’s fascination with her butt (and her boobs and her gorgeously curvy figure in general) into an empire of various clothing and beauty products.

Naya hasn’t entered the world of design and cosmetics yet, but she, too, seems to accentuate her flawless figure as a way to market herself and advance her career goals. The cover for her debut single, “Sorry,” shows Naya mid-twerk and scantily clad, drawing plenty of attention to her curve-tacular behind. Her recent red carpet and talk show appearances have been all about showing skin and putting her flawless abs on display.

4. Each has dabbled in a music career, some with more success than others.

Naya’s been landing on the music charts for years as Glee’s Santana, and now the songstress is venturing out on a solo career of her own. Her debut single, “Sorry,” is already popping on the charts, and the Glee star is hard at work finishing her solo album.

Kim briefly flirted with the idea of a music career, releasing her single, “Jam (Turn It Up)” in early 2011. But don’t think she’s trying to be a full-time pop star. Kim clarified at the time that she has no plans to drop an album.

5. Family first. They’re both super-tight with their siblings.

Family is big for the Kardashians. They’re all about sticking together and supporting each other through all the hard times. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe’s bond of sisterhood couldn’t be tighter, and the gals are also quite close with little sisters Kendall and Kylie as well as with brother, Rob.

Naya is super-close with her siblings, too. She gushes about her little sister, Nickayla, on Twitter, and the two often show up at football games to support their brother, Mychal. And when Mychal played his first game in the NFL, Naya cheered him on in the most enthusiastic way possible.

Now our question is: Have Kim and Naya ever met?

We’re not sure, but we do know that Naya and Sean both partied with the Kardashian crew at Kendall’s sweet 16 birthday party this August. Kim ended up skipping the party to stay home with daughter, Nori. But even if they haven’t met yet, we’re sure an introduction of some sort is bound to happen soon enough.

What do you think? Are Naya and Kim’s similarities too hard to ignore, or do you just not see it yet? Share your input in the comments below but, you know, be nice.
