Now, the 26-year-old can add one more thing to her ever-growing list of accomplishments: Crushing it on the pop music charts. Naya’s first single, “Sorry,” debuted on iTunes September 17, and it’s already climbed the charts all the way to the #10 spot!
Naya shared the news via Twitter at about 4 p.m. that day. “Oh man! Top 10 on the pop charts?! Amazing. Im truly speechless. Thank you for all the love!” she also wrote on her Instagram.
Coming in above Naya at the #9 spot is One Direction’s “Best Song Ever,” following by One Republic’s “Counting Stars,” Miley Cyrus’s “We Can’t Stop,” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” at #8-6. That’s some pretty great company and we can’t help but notice that they’re all huge name musicians with plenty of years in the industry behind them.
For Naya to be doing so well with just her first single... well, we guess that’s just the power of Glee!
