Ne-Yo’s Fans Are Angry AF He’s Having Another Baby With His Wife

Pregnancy announcements should generally be met with excitement and elation, but that's not always the case if you're a celeb.

Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Smith, announced yesterday they're expecting their second child together, and fans are seriously upset at him for impregnating his wifey again so quickly.

And no, it's not because his female fans are jealous...

The "So Sick" singer married Crystal in an over-the-top wedding ceremony in February of 2016.

And clearly these two lovebirds are moving right along, as they announced on Instagram that they're expecting another baby together early next year.

In Crystal's caption, she admitted the pregnancy was unexpected.

"We didn't plan for you but you are Gods plan and I thank you for choosing us to be your parents!," she wrote.

So, why are the R&B crooner's fans so upset?

Because let's not forget that he allegedly made his ex-fiancé, Monyetta Shaw, get her tubes tied so they wouldn't have any more kids, according to TMZ.

Ne-Yo and Monyetta share two children; Madilyn, 7, and Mason, 6.

It was reported the couple agreed to both get surgery to prevent them from reproducing again— tube-tying for her, a vasectomy for him — but apparently only she actually went through with it.

Then, he called off their engagement!

Now, the 38-year-old's fans are calling him a hypocrite for not having anymore kids with his first baby mama, but "unexpectedly" getting pregnant with the second.

Here are just a few of the mean-spirited tweets:

However, Monyetta seems happy for her ex and his lady and thrilled her kids are going to have another half-sibling.

And though the pregnancy wasn't planned, the parents-to-be are over the moon about their new addition.

The couple admits they don't yet know the sex of the baby, though it seems like everyone is rooting for a girl.

"Maddie has asked a few times for a little sister since having SJ so fingers crossed," The Platinum Life star tells E! News of her step-daughter.

"I've been dreaming of the same little girl since I was a little girl and we won't stop until we get her!"

Plus, they've already picked out names.

"We have had names for our angels since before Shaffer Jr. was born so, yes, we are all set on baby names."

Congrats to the Smith crew on their impending bundle of joy — naysayers be damned!
