Ryan Gosling Wears WHOSE Name on His Necklace? (Hint: It’s Not Eva Mendes!)

There’s been a lot of speculation these days about the state of the relationship between Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. The duo first started dating back in the summer of 2011, but were rumored to be on the verge of a breakup in November of last year.

Unfortunately for all the ladies hoping to snag the Gos, it looks the 33-year-old actor is still off the market. Not only was he photographed peeking over the gate of Eva’s Hollywood Hills home, but a recent walk down the red carpet pretty much confirmed that they’re still hot and heavy.

The actor popped up in San Francisco on Tuesday, May 6, where he attended a screening of White Shadow at SFIFF. Ryan went uber casual in a leather bomber and a simple black henley, complete with sexy scruff and a long silver chain.

It wasn’t the fact that Ryan was wearing a necklace that caught our attention, but the name that was emblazoned on the charm. Alongside a silver ring dangling from the chain was a pendant which read “Hugo.”

For everyone not up to date on the details of Ryan’s life, Hugo just so happens to the be the name of Eva’s Belgian Malinois dog. The duo have been photographed walking the pooch around Los Angeles several times over the last few years.

Regardless of Ryan’s reluctance to talk about his relationship, all signs point to them still going strong. Eva even gushed about her boyfriend back in March when asked about their upcoming film Lost River, which Ryan both wrote and directed.

“He really created the most beautiful, collaborative, creative atmosphere on set,” she revealed to E! News. “I know I’m biased [but] he’s the best.”

Head on over to Us Weekly to get a close up look at Ryan’s necklace!
