Neil Patrick Harris Debuts Bald Head at 2016 Tony Awards (PHOTOS)
It’s Neil Patrick Harris like you’ve never seen him before: bald!
The former How I Met Your Mother star stepped out at the 2016 Tony Awards last night, June 12, sporting a drastic new ‘do that nobody really expected.
The reason for this look — besides for wowing us on a night honoring Broadway’s best and brightest — is because of his upcoming role in Netflix’s Series of Unfortunate Events, based on a Lemony Snicket’s book series of the same name, which is shooting in Vancouver.
The 42-year-old is playing Count Olaf, a tall, thin, and evil man who is constantly disguising and hiding himself to follow the three Baudelaire children around to kill them for their money.
The 4-time Tony host took to the stage during the show’s 70th celebration to hand out the award for Best Actor in a Musical to Hamilton’s Leslie Odom Jr. and joked about his look.
Attending the show with his husband David Burtka, the fathers of two donned silver ribbons in memory of the 50 people killed in Orlando at Pulse, a gay nightclub, just one night prior.
We should’ve known something was up with his hair after the last few photos from his Instagram page have showed him wearing a baseball cap every time.
