This week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Stewart dug deep to discover the roots of her failed marriage when she sought out therapy and realized that she felt like Kordell was more like a father to her than a husband. So far this season, she has spent most of her on-camera time bashing Kordell for the way he ended things (legit) and constantly insinuating that he's gay.
NeNe Leakes took to her Bravo blog following the episode to express her frustration over their situation and give Porsha a bit of advice on how to move on, once and for all.
"I hate when a couple breaks up and they just sling dirt on each other," NeNe wrote, adding, "I'm not involved in their relationship, but I can say it's sad to hear all the negativity."
NeNe then sent a personal message to Porsha:
"This is for you, Porsha: If you are so done with Kordell, be done with his last name as well. You guys don't have children together, so why hold on to something that was negative for you?" NeNe wondered.
Porsha recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, where she explained her reasons for staying a Stewart.
"I'm going to keep 'Stewart,'" she told Wendy. "It's not his name — it's my name … I'm a whole other woman now, and I'm going to own that name."
Do you agree with NeNe that Porsha should go back to her maiden name, or do you understand Porsha's reasons for wanting to keep Stewart? Share your thoughts below!
