2012 Daytime Emmy Award Winners: The Full List
It was a big year for ABC’s General Hospital at the 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards. The third longest-running soap opera in television history took home five trophies from Saturday’s annual ceremony honoring the best shows airing between 2 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Despite all the Ann Curry finger-pointing, the Today show still came out on top with the “best morning talk show” award while Jeopardy was named best game show.
Regis Philbin was also honored one last time (despite not showing up for the ceremony) for his work on Live with Regis and Kelly as the duo were named best talk-show hosts.
