Amanda Bynes Charged For Two Separate Hit-and-Run Accidents (UPDATE)
Update: According to the Los Angeles Times, the DMV has suspended Amanda Bynes's drivers license.
Original story: There’s more trouble for Amanda Bynes. TMZ reports that the LA City Attorney has charged the former Nickelodeon star with two counts of hit-and-run.
One count stems from an April accident: Though the incident was initially dismissed due to a lack of independent witnesses, the case was reopened after Bynes allegedly rear-ended a car on August 4.
In addition to these two hit-and-runs, Bynes has been involved in two other vehicular violations. If she’s found at fault in both accidents, she could be sentenced to a year in prison.
Her court date is September 27.
