The major girl crushes between the First Lady of Hip Hop, Beyonce Knowles, and the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, are raging on this week at full force.

Michelle has long spoken of her respect for the pop star and this week, Beyonce responded with some love of her own just in time for President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign.

After first writing a letter of appreciation to the President’s wife back in April, the singer has now taken to YouTube to read her words of thanks aloud.

Beyonce calls the First Lady “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman” and goes on to say, “She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she’s humble, loving, and sincere.”

“Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us,” Beyonce adds. “I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

While Mrs. Obama has yet to respond to the video, her tweet following Beyonce’s original letter was sweet as could be.

“Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids every can look up to,” she said
