Beyonce Thanks Michelle Obama For Being Perfect

Barack and Michelle Obama are always inundated with letters and emails penned (or typed) by Americans from all walks of life, but it's not every day they receive a personal thank-you note from the one of the world's foremost divas: Beyonce!

Yesterday, the Grammy-winning singer published a lovely, handwritten letter to Michelle on her newly revamped website, thanking her for being the "ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman."

"She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!" she continued. "No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she's humble, loving, and sincere."

Beyonce, a first-time mom who gave birth daughter Blue Ivy Carter just three months ago, gave Michelle special recognition for being a positive role model for young women.

"I am so proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."

Strangely enough, Michelle's husband has a bit of a soft spot Beyonce's husband. When President Obama was asked to choose between Kanye West and Jay-Z, he smiled and said, “Jay-Z.”

It won't be long before the country's two most powerful couples team up for double dates … or, you know, world domination.
