After news broke of Whitney Houston’s untimely death on February 11, her 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, suffered a nervous breakdown and was taken to Cedars-Sinai twice in a 24-hour period.
Her father, Whitney Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown, released a statement today about his daughter’s health.
“My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better,” he says. “We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.”
Bobby isn’t the only one speaking out: X Factor contestant Stacy Francis expressed her regrets over her fight with Whitney Houston at Tru Hollywood Nightclub only two days before Whitney’s death. She took to Twitter on Sunday, writing, “This is a sad time for me. I loved Whitney Houston with all my heart. She was such an amazing musical influence for me.”
