Last week, Carrie Fisher was reportedly a celebrity guest on a Holland America Eurodam cruise ship in the Caribbean. TMZ posted a video of her singing off-key and cleaning up after her dog, who relieved himself during the very informal show.
Some people wondered if Carrie was drunk at the time, but Carrie’s rep told TMZ, "There was a medical incident related to Carrie Fisher’s bipolar disorder. She went to the hospital briefly to adjust her medication and is feeling much better now."
The audience seemed to enjoy her performance in the video — it sounded like they were laughing with her, especially when she cleaned up after her dog. It looked like just a light, fun show. But bipolar disorder, and related medications, are nothing to joke about — so if she wasn’t feeling 100 percent at the time, we hope she is now.
