Channing Tatum is about to step up to fatherhood, but he's not without a bit of anxiety.
The dreamiest of dreamy dreamboats was asked by E! News what scares him most about becoming a father.
"I think everything and above," the apprehensive 32-year-old star of Magic Mike and Step Up admits.
"I mean, I don't think there's one thing that doesn't terrify you, but in the most unbelievably beautiful way," he clarifies. "Someone said it's really like watching your heart jump out of your body and run around, and I think that can possibly be the coolest thing that I've heard of."
Channing was asked how well his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, is dealing with her growing baby bump.
"I mean, women just sort of turn into like animals in this sort of stage that they're in," he says. Uh, care to explain yourself there, Chan?
"She's a complete animal right now!" he said jokingly, when asked what he meant. "You can ask her, but in the most beautiful like humanistic animal-y way. You know she works out all of the time, eats right, impeccably right. She's just a machine." Nice save, buddy.
Hmm. We would say that Channing might be in trouble for calling his wife an "animal," but who could possibly stay mad at Channing Tatum? Not us.
