Channing Tatum vs. Ryan Gosling For MTV's Best Kiss: Channing Predicts Winner (Hint: Not Them!)
That Rachel McAdams has a rough life, kissing Ryan Gosling in The Notebook and Channing Tatum in The Vow.
(Not to mention Owen Wilson in Wedding Crashers, Eric Bana in The Time Traveler's Wife, Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes...)
Rachel's smooch with Channing in The Vow is up for a Best Kiss at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, but Channing knows he’s got nothin' on her kiss with Ryan Gosling in The Notebook, which won the Best Kiss award in 2005.
"Aww, that's not fair,” Channing told MTV News (via UsMagazine.com) when they compared his kiss to The Notebook. “They have rain. That's completely not fair. Everything's cooler in the rain." (Yep, especially when the kiss is upside down in the rain — just ask Spider-Man.)
Gosling is back in the kiss category himself with Emma Stone in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Not to be biased, but that's where our money would go. But Channing doesn't think Ryan will win. He doesn't think he'll win himself either. "It doesn't matter. The Twilight kids always sweep it," Channing told MTV. "They sweep it every time."
Actually, Twilight has some stiff competition this year from Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games. Still, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have won the award three time in a row and they are back in the category again with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1, so they’ll probably win this Ultimate Kiss-Off contest. But we're still backing Gosling!
