Hey now, isn't Kate Middleton supposed to be all about the struggling economy — recycling dresses and hats to be more like the peons? Maybe that just doesn’t apply to shoes.

According to Us Weekly the Duchess of Cambridge wore a white Roland Mouret dress to a dinner on Tuesday, along with Jimmy Choo "Vamp" heels that retail for $750.

The platforms have 4.5-inch heels, not that Kate really needs to make herself look even more tall and slender.
