Daniel Radcliffe hits the red carpet in New York City for the premiere of his latest film, The Woman in Black.
Wow. Daniel Radcliffe certainly isn’t a little boy anymore. In a recent interview with Heat, the star of the Harry Potter saga opened up about his past drinking problem and one-night stands. We may never be able to watch the movies in the same way again...
“I have a very addictive personality,” admitted Daniel, explaining that his drinking spiraled out of control. He drank heavily on a nightly basis, even arriving on set still drunk. “I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone,” he added. “Dead behind the eyes.”
Although people often blame fame for pushing child stars off the rails, the 22-year-old thinks it was inevitable. “I think it’s just in me... But after a while, you’re living under such a cloud of shame about what you’ve done.”
For his part, the actor tried to avoid hooking up with groupies. “You’re going to have to talk to them afterwards, even if it is a one-night stand,” he dished. Hey, nothing wrong with a little pillow talk!
Who knew Daniel was such a wild one? We’re glad he’s in a good place now!
