Demi Moore makes an appearance at Variety's annual Power of Woment event.
After a week of speculation about how Demi Moore would deal with her alleged overdose and the tape of the controversial 911 call, it appears that the actress is taking matters seriously: She's checked herself into the luxe Utah rehab Cirque Lodge, which counts stars like Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Eva Mendes as alumni.
E! News reports that Demi is being treated for both addiction issues and an eating disorder at the Sundance, Utah facility, which sounds sensible, given the claims that recent months have seen her "completely in crisis" following her split from Ashton Kutcher in November 2011. Demi was hospitalized after showing seizure-like symptoms at a party at her Los Angeles home last Friday, with reports surfacing in the last week that she was seeking spiritual help for overcoming her issues. But E! says that Demi actually quietly headed to Cirque Lodge shortly after the overdose; speculation that she was visited by Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher in the last week are false, as she's been in treatment for the last week.
We're glad to hear that Demi is seeking the help she needs, and wish her the best in her recovery.
