Did Katy Perry Diss Russell Brand With New Song Lyrics at the Grammy Awards?
Katy Perry debuted her new single, "Part of Me," during the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Expect to hear the song on the radio and see it available on iTunes starting tomorrow (Feb. 13).
Katy is relatively fresh out of her relationship with Russell Brand and it sounds like she may have tweaked some of the “Part of Me” lyrics to specifically diss her soon-to-be-ex-husband.
Here’s a portion of the “old” lyrics:
"You can keep the dog from me
I never liked him anyway
In fact you can keep everything
Yeah, yeah, except for me"
And here are the lyrics Katy sang Sunday night at the Grammys:
"You can keep the diamond ring
It don't mean nothing anyway
In fact you can keep everything
Yeah yeah, except for me"
Snap! Sounds like we have a new Taylor Swift in the house.
