DirecTV Users Get Channels Back! MTV, Nickelodeon Fans Rejoice
You want your MTV? You got it back.
Back on July 10, 20 million DirecTV customers lost 17 Viacom-owned cable networks — including VH1, Spike, TV Land, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and MTV — after a deal couldn't be resolved.
But now it's resolved. According to The Wall Street Journal, DirecTV and Viacom reached an agreement Friday to restore the 17 channels — plus DirecTV customers can watch Viacom programming on their laptops and other devices though the DirecTV Everywhere platform.
Three cheers for TV fans!
