Good Morning America’s weatherman of choice, Sam Champion, is a taken man!

Us Weekly reports that Sam married his longtime boyfriend, Rubem Robierb, Friday Dec. 21 in New York City.

Sam’s GMA colleagues Robin Roberts and Josh Elliott were in attendance at the afternoon ceremony, where Roberts recited a poem.

The couple originally announced their engagement in October, years after they met in Miami, where Rubem is a professional fine arts photographer.

In December, Sam told Us Weekly, “What I'm most excited about is [my fiance] and the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with him. Because I think he's the most amazing person in the world.”
