Howard Stern Makes a Little Boy Cry on America's Got Talent
You don’t hire a shock jock and then expect him to be warm and fuzzy. And in new judge Howard Stern, America’s Got Talent certainly got what it says on the box: Last night he made a 7-year-old boy cry.
Howard hit the buzzer on pint-sized rapper Mir Money, and then, over the boos of the audience, he tried to explain his decision to the little guy — but the poor kid was so rattled he burst into tears, according to E! Online.
Howard rushed onstage to comfort little Money, who was able to calm down — but it seemed that Howard was the one more upset by the incident. So much so, in fact, that he threatened to quit.
"This job is too rough for me, I don't really wanna do it anymore,” he said. “I'm not cut out for this, man. I'm not cut out for it. I'm shaking, man, I'm shaking. I can't do it, man. I can't do it."
You have a contract, man, you have a contract. We’re pretty sure you’ll find a way. And don’t worry — if you’re so worried about upsetting kids that America’s Got Talent ends up a 58-way tie between every seven-year-old who enters, we’d probably be OK with that.
