Is Chris Hemsworth Too Buff? Weird Fan Question of the Day
True story: Chris Hemsworth packed on so much muscle to play Thor in the 2011 summer blockbuster of the same name that he couldn’t fit into the costume. The Australian hottie later told The Los Angeles Times, “I got the part and immediately started looking at the comic books, and the guy is 500 pounds or something and looks like Schwarzenegger. And I thought, ‘OK, I’m not gonna get to that.’ But I have to get bigger.”
But he got a little too big... in a very literal sense.
Does that mean he’s “too buff”? He certainly didn’t have mega-biceps back in 2006 when he was starring on the popular Aussie soap opera Home and Away (left), but in our eyes he’s equally sexy with and without the extra bulk.
