Justin Bieber and Jay-Z opted out of attending the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday — choosing instead to wine and dine their leading ladies, Selena Gomez and Beyonce, respectively. To paraphrase one of Justin Bieber’s pop hits: two less lonely girls!
Justin and Selena grubbed on Thai food at NYC’s Chanpen Thai Cuisine, according to a source who spilled to details to Hollywood Life. The restaurant’s staff was impressed with the kindness of the teenage moguls. “They were really nice […] and they were very pleasant to the staff.”
Jay-Z, meanwhile, managed to win a Grammy (for the single “Otis” off of the Kanye West collaboration Watch the Throne) and take his wife and baby mama, Beyonce, out to pizza in Brooklyn. Stars, they’re just like us! Except Hova and Beyonce were chauffeured to the restaurant in a Maybach. (Big Pimpin’: eating cheese.) Sources for Us Weekly say Jay and Beyonce "were just like a regular couple talking and whatnot.” Just days earlier, the new parents released the very first photos of baby girl Blue Ivy Carter on their very own Tumblr.
