Super successful rapper Jay-Z is definitely not part of the 99%, but he wouldn't be the first super-rich celeb to jump on the Occupy Wall Street bandwagon. So when we first heard that he was launching an Occupy Wall Street T-shirt line today, as part of his Rocawear clothing label, we were pleased. It's nice when the elite care about the little people, and we assumed that at least part of the proceeds from the shirts' sales would go towards, you know, supporting the movement he's using to market his product.

We were wrong. According to a statement issued to Gawker by a Rocawear spokesperson, "at this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement." But don't worry guys, they're totally into the cause. The T-shirts say "Occupy All Streets," which is Rocawear's "way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street."

That's sweet, but somehow a mulit-millionaire profiting off of a protest about the inequality of wealth distribution doesn't exactly jive, no matter how much you claim to embrace the message. Just saying.
