Here’s some friendly advice for Jennifer Lawrence: If you’re going to attempt to go incognito in sunglasses and a hat, it’s advisable to not wear an eye-catching purple fedora.

But J.Law did just that on February 7, when she flew out of LAX on her way to London for the 2013 BAFTAs — and the Best Actress nominee’s pseudo-disguise wasn’t enough to fool the roving paparazzi.

Wisdom of the look aside, let’s get down to the style itself. While we love J.Law’s pea coat-meets-leather jacket trench and distressed skinny jeans, we’re not sold on the hat.
