Jennifer Love Hewitt is taking her new job to heart.

The actress, who’s set to play a call girl on the upcoming Lifetime series The Client List, is making sure she looks her best in the bedroom scenes. According to an insider, Jennifer looked noticeably slimmer while in New York City over the holidays.

“I would say she’s lost about 10 to 15 pounds since the last time I saw her,” the insider exclusively tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “I’m sure it’s because of the show. She knows she’s going to be wearing lots of lingerie and other revealing clothing for the part, and she wants to look hot!”

Celebrity trainer and fitness expert Jim Ryno of Lift Enterprises agrees. Comparing two photos of Jennifer — one of her from several months ago and one taken more recently — he tells Wetpaint Entertainment, “Jennifer looks like she definitely lost 10 to 15 pounds. She has always had sexiness about her, but seems to fluctuate back and forth kind of dramatically. In these photos it looks like she lost a little all around, but mostly in her butt and thighs, giving her a more streamlined look.”  

For her part, Jennifer, who was accompanied by her sister-in-law during her visit to the Big Apple, told pals she’s doing everything she can to fit as much exercise into her schedule as possible. “She was saying how much she loves New York because all the walking helps keep her in shape,” the insider notes.

She’s so excited to show off her svelte new physique, she treated herself to a shopping spree at the DIGS flagship store in Soho. An eyewitness tells Wetpaint Entertainment she scooped up $2,083 worth of clothes — all in sizes small and extra-small. “She looks and feels great,” says the insider. “It really shows!”
