Jessica Alba didn't have good luck last week.
The Good Luck Chuck actress told Jimmy Kimmel on February 12 that she woke up in the middle of the night last week unable to move parts of her body.
"I thought I was having a stroke," Jessica admitted. "It was 2:30 in the morning, and I woke up, and my hand started to go numb, and then my whole arm went numb and I couldn't move it."
Jessica googled the symptoms and was certain she was having a stroke.
She then called a doctor, who assured her she was fine, but she decided to head to the emergency room just in case.
"They all said, 'You had all the signs of a stroke if you were much older,'" she explains.
So what was the problem? Apparently, she has carpal tunnel syndrome, which isn't fun but is a lot better than a stroke.
We suppose it's better to be safe than sorry.
