Jessica Simpson’s Daily Diet Routine: Top 3 Most Surprising Secrets
Jessica Simpson has been very open about her plan to slim down post-pregnancy, and the new mom says she’s lost 40 pounds in the past four months. But how exactly is the Weight Watchers spokesperson losing all the weight so quickly?
Jess revealed a typical daily menu for her Weight Watchers-inspired diet, and we were most surprised by the following three weight-loss tips.
1. 14,000 steps per day. For Jessica’s 8am workout with her husband and baby Maxwell, she wears a pedometer to measure how many steps she takes. “I’m trying to do at least 14,000 steps a day,” she says. Smart!
2. She still eats chocolate. Jess typically follows a healthy dinner of fish and vegetables with something like Skinny Cow chocolate truffle bars. Good news for any dieters with a sweet tooth.
3. Every Wednesday, she weighs in “at home with her mom and pals.” So not only does Jessica have America watching over her shoulder as she tries to shed the last 10 pounds of her baby weight, but her mom and closest friends watch her weigh in, Biggest Loser-style, every week.
