Jessica Simpson's Father Busted For DUI, Spends Night in Jail: Report

Somebody's not setting a good example for his new baby granddaughter!

According to TMZ, Jessica Simpson's father, Joe Simpson, was arrested for DUI on August 4 in L.A. Police reportedly pulled Joe's car over around 10 p.m., suspected he was intoxicated, booked him and had him spend the night behind bars. He was released the next morning without having to post bail. This would be Joe's first offense, if any charges are filed, but TMZ suspects he might just end up with a fine.

Joe was a Baptist minister before guiding his two daughters, Jessica and Ashlee, to reality TV and music success. Maybe it’s time for the young’uns to take charge of Papa and make sure he stays sober behind the wheel.
