When she’s on E!’s Fashion Police, comedian Joan Rivers can be ruthless about celebrity style. But when Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the star on the New York City red carpet launch of the Tie the Knot spring collection, she had nothing but nice words for one standout celebrity.

“Jennifer Lawrence absolutely epitomized what a movie star should look like this season,” she told us. “At the Oscars, she knocked it out of the park.”

Jennifer wore a gorgeous Dior Couture gown to the Oscars, where she took home the trophy for Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.

Though she looked flawless on the carpet, JLaw infamously tripped on the dress while scaling the stairs to the stage to receive her award.
