Money Never Sleeps? Perhaps, but we're thinking Josh Brolin should have gone to sleep earlier than he did on New Year's Day.
The star of such films as No Country for Old Men, Milk, and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was arrested just before midnight on January 1 in Santa Monica, according to TMZ.
Sources says that the actor had been spending time with some guy friends that day, and then he ended up having "too much fun."
Josh was taken to jail but wasn't given a citation for the arrest, so he won't have to go to court and can instead put this behind him.
This isn't the first time that the actor has had a run-in with the law. In 2008, he was arrested following an altercation at a bar in New Orleans, although the charges were later dropped. In 2004, he was arrested for domestic battery, but his wife — actress Diane Lane — declined to press charges.
Josh's next film, Gangster Squad, is released this Friday, co-starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. His father is James Brolin, who is married to Barbra Streisand.
Josh was great in Men in Black 3, so we're hoping he won't be a man in orange (jumpsuit) in the future.
