All Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson really needs to do to be loved by millions of girls across the world is wake up in the morning. But 19-year-old Josh is more than just a pretty face. He has a big heart, too!

TooFab reports that Josh recently adopted a 3-month-old Pit Bull puppy with “special needs.” Apparently, Driver the pup is missing a few toes, and he had to “undergo surgery to repair a broken femur.” Poor thing!

But judging from these photos, Driver isn’t hurting anymore. With a white triangle above his nose, the super-cute pup must have stood out to Josh at the Hands Paws Shelter in Lancaster, California because he needed some extra TLC.

Handsome, talented, and a rescuer of puppies? Watch out, Ryan Gosling. There’s another hero heartthrob on the scene!
