It sounds like The Black Keys are not what you would call Beliebers.
Following numerous Grammy wins for rockers The Black Keys over the weekend, the band's drummer dissed Justin Bieber, according to TMZ.
Drummer Patrick Carney was asked by TMZ to address Justin being snubbed by the Grammys, and Patrick's words were none too sympathetic.
"He's rich, right?" Patrick responded. "Grammys are for music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy." Harsh!
Justin did not take kindly to the comments, and he took to Twitter to air his grievances. On February 12, Justin wrote:
Yikes. Justin may have added that "haha" to his tweet, but it certainly doesn't sound like he's joking.
Long story short, you shouldn't expect to see The Black Keys cheering in the front row of a Justin Bieber concert anytime soon.
Meanwhile, things have been tough of late for The Black Keys members' private lives, as frontman Dan Aurebach is getting a divorce.
So whose side are you on in the Bieber-Black Keys showdown? Let us know!
