Never say never! Justin Bieber’s sweetie, Selena Gomez, told us not to expect The Biebs at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, but he showed up on Sunday night to accept his award for (appropriately enough) Best Jaw-Dropping Moment.

The stars of the film 30 Minutes or Less presented the award. They whined that the winner was someone who wasn’t there to accept it. “It’s Justin Bieber! And he’s not here,” Aziz Ansari lamented. “He’s not here. He’s busy boning a huge pile of cash in a private jet while he’s Skyping with Jaden Smith and Selena Gomez.”

Then, after a bit of an awkward pause, Justin Bieber himself came out in a bright blue jacket to accept the award and thank his fans. But he didn’t thank Selena, who already had to put up with Justin jokes from host Jason Sudeikis. Poor girl...
