Kristen Stewart “Too Ashamed” to Attend On the Road Premiere in London: Report

Is someone feeling a little overexposed these days?

Now that everyone has seen the photos of Kristen Stewart making out with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, 41-year-old Rupert Sanders, the actress is apparently not yet ready to endure public scrutiny on the red carpet.

According to RadarOnline, she has backed out of the London premiere of On the Road on August 16. A source tells the site, “Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for On The Road — she’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now.”

On top of that, Robert Pattinson, her former boyfriend of three years/the hot guy she cheated on, is apparently close friends with her co-star Tom Sturridge. “Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him,” the insider adds.

In line with her desire to be seen as an actress first, a star second, she’s also worried that her presence would take away from the film — an adaptation she’s “proud” of — reveals the source.

A rep for Rob shot down recent reports that the actor had decided to duck out of his promotional duties for Cosmopolis, which also kick off next week, so maybe Kristen will end up jetting across the pond for the premiere of her bare boobs after all.

One thing’s for sure: She’s not welcome at Rob’s Cosmopolis premiere on August 13.
