Larry David Has a Real-Life Larry David Moment, Gets Trapped in a Parking Garage
Not that his George Steinbrenner impersonation isn’t great, but Larry David’s best performances are always when he’s playing himself. David proved this on March 18 when he got trapped in a parking garage because he was unable to figure out how to open the gate using his ticket. TMZ has the hilarious video in which a befuddled David says, “Can’t do it … Sorry, sorry!” as he theatrically spreads his arm in a classic Larry pose.
A kind citizen then gets out of her car to assist him. There is far less horn-honking and expletives than in a typical Curb Your Enthusiasm scene, but we’d be surprised if Larry doesn’t find himself in a similar situation in an upcoming episode (if we get a Season 9... ). Though Larry will probably be accused of stealing the ticket, the friendly person who offers to help will be someone he just yelled at for parking illegally, and he won’t be able to get out of his car because he inadvertently lost his pants.
