Dogshaming is a meme going super-viral, in which Internet users post photos of their guilty-faced canined posing with placards describing their transgressions, which usually involve them eating disgusting or expensive things. Just ask Lauren Conrad.

The 26-year-old star of MTV’s The Hills posted this adorable photo of her new pup Fitz next to a pair of chewed-out Vans last week with a sign reading, “I thought your shoe was a snack.”

But who could really fault that angelic face? It seems like Ms. Conrad needs to be Laurenshamed for carelessly leaving out her appetizing sneakers.
