Lil Wayne may be insisting he’s doing OK, but that doesn’t mean friends, family, and fans aren’t still totally freaked with worry!
The rapper has had a fair share of supporters dropping by Cedars-Sinai to check up on him and send their regards. Last night, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul and his wife, Jada, stopped in to pay Lil Wayne a warm-hearted visit, TMZ reports. Hip hop star Drake was also seen visiting the premises.
We imagine that Chris and Jada spoke with hospital staff regarding the 30-year-old singer’s status, and we wish they’d share their info! We can’t take all the conflicting stories and confusing tweets. For our own peace of mind, someone needs to set the record straight soon.
Lil Wayne experienced multiple seizures on Tuesday and Wednesday and was taken to the hospital when his bodyguard found him unconscious on the floor. Following the announcement of Lil Wayne’s hospitalization, there was speculation that Lil Wayne’s health was in an even more dire spot, with the particularly ominous quote, “We’re told it doesn’t look good” haunting the Internet.
To clear up the matter, the rapper himself took to took to Twitter on Friday, writing, "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”
We hope to hear from the singer soon, and to get concrete details regarding his medical situation. In the meantime, our prayers and love continue to go out to the gracious Lil Wayne.
